Unique and Bespoke

Here at Appletree Interiors, we appreciate a home isn’t simply where you live, but an expression of how you live. Whether you are entertaining, home working, or simply relaxing in your surroundings, let us enhance those experiences for you.

Whilst a significant amount of our work is on period properties, we work with all types of architectural styles. We are sympathetic in our approach and take this into careful consideration with our designs, materials, and fittings.

“We look forward to creating something individual and unique for your home.”

Imaginative Carpentry

To me, the items I make are as much a piece of artistry as a functional unit. Maybe, you need a wall-to-wall bookcase for those fine reads, family photographs, and cherished trophies or you may have your mind on a certain piece of joinery unique to yourself. Perhaps you would love to have a hide-away under the stairs providing you endless storage possibilities; whatever the project, we can work alongside you to provide the best solution.

“Combining craftsmanship, creativity, and practicality, the possibilities are endless.”

Getting Started

Before undertaking your project, I will schedule a visit to your home. The work may seem straightforward; however, seeing the eventual setting gives me better context to your requirements.

I am happy to provide an end-to-end solution that compliments your existing style or collaborate on implementing your ideas and designs. With a background in art and design, I can easily draw up scaled plans and walk you through them.

I find my Customers appreciate honest feedback and I welcome the opportunity to advise on project feasibility, suggest options, and try and alert you to any potential issues.

Environmental Policy

We follow environmentally friendly practices to do all we can to minimise our impact on the environment and continually look at ways of improving how we do this. Our current practices include:

  • Storing and reusing timber offcuts where possible or burning to provide workshop heating and kindling for home use
  • Reusing or recycling empty bottles, tins, and packaging
  • Disposing of all waste in an environmentally responsible way
  • Burning sawdust and wood shavings to provide workshop heating
  • Using energy efficient workshop lighting
  • Where possible, make use of smaller power tools that are battery powered
  • Repairing broken or faulty tools rather than disposing of them
  • Giving outdated tools to a good home for a new life
  • Operating efficient HDI Diesel Vehicles

All new timber and sheet materials we use such as MDF and Plywood, come from sustainable sources and are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified.

*The only exception is reclaimed timber and English hardwoods from storm-damaged trees*

Guild Of Master Craftsmen

The Guild is an organisation devoted to the promotion of excellence and the engendering of craftsmanship. I have been a member of the Guild for 18 years. This is added assurance that you can expect a high and reputable standard of work.

Our Work

Most of the work is done in my workshop where I have access to specialist machinery and tools to provide accurate and quality products. I have a separate dust free paint room with excellent lighting and heating to achieve the best finish. By executing most work at the workshop, I limit noise, interruption, and disorder to you and your home. I am also able to deliver and install your finished furniture. I work as neatly as the job allows and always try to leave your home as I found it but with a stunning new addition.
