Bespoke Fitted Furniture has the benefit of using every millimetre of your space and can eliminate the awkwardness of slopes, angles, and crooked walls. Another advantage is having your own individual layout of shelving, drawers and rails that fit perfectly.

Whether you want a bookcase built into an alcove or a floor to ceiling wardrobe, our aim is to provide you with Fitted Furniture which looks like it belongs; like it was always there.

Bespoke Freestanding Furniture has its advantages also. Stand-alone units can be useful if you want the ability to move furniture to different rooms or if you move house.

If you are looking for a small storage cupboard to go in a hallway or sideboard with basket storage, we can provide lovely stand-alone pieces to compliment any room.

No one ever has enough storage space in their home and off-the-shelf products are nearly always the wrong size or style. This is especially true if you have an older cottage. We work with hard woods such as Oak and Poplar or soft woods such as Pine. If you are looking for your furniture to have a distinctive lovely grain, then hardwood is the best choice. If your piece is going to be painted, then Poplar or Pine are good choice as usually less expensive. 

For most projects, MDF, an engineered wood is a good alternative due to its’ stability insomuch as it does not lend itself to warping or twisting.

I’m happy to discuss the attributes of various wood types and the cost for each. I will suggest my choice or take your request if you have a preference.

Depending on the style and material, we may be able to match existing furniture with new pieces.

We usually provide fully finished furniture; painted, varnished, or waxed. You may choose to finish yourself in which case, we would provide it unfinished or primed. I’m happy to advise on processes and materials.

For external fittings such as knobs and handles, it is important to match the appropriate fitting to the style of your furniture. We can advise on fittings, either choosing ourselves or taking your recommendations.

For internal fittings we use high quality items for example, we always install soft close mechanisms for cabinet hardware.
